Dear SCB Families,

At St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, kindness, hard work, service, and joy aren’t just values we teach; they’re values we live, every single day. Whether it’s a teacher staying late to help a student, a parent volunteering at an event, or our children sharing jubilation on the playground, these small moments add up to something truly special: a strong, faith-filled community growing together.

This year’s Annual Fund theme, “Join the Journey, Shape the Future,” reflects that shared commitment. It reminds us that when we come together, offering our time, resources, and spirit, we help shape a future filled with hope, excellence, and opportunity for every student at SCB.

The Annual Fund plays a vital role in making this possible. Every dollar goes directly into the school's operating budget, supporting things that matter deeply, such as teacher salaries and professional development, classroom resources, tuition assistance, capital improvements, and the programs and activities that make learning here so rich.

One of the most meaningful ways these funds are used is to support our incredible faculty and staff. These are the people who walk alongside our children every day, helping them develop as a whole person, academically, spiritually, and emotionally. The Annual Fund also helps ensure more families can afford the gift of an SCB education. In the 2024–25 school year, St. Charles awarded $150,000 in scholarships from our endowment.  This support impacts 17% of our students at St. Charles.

As we begin our eighth year as parents at SCB, with Charlie now in 6th grade and Amelia in 2nd, we are continually grateful for the deep sense of purpose, community, and care that fills this school. We've seen firsthand how much of a difference this support makes.

That’s why we’re reaching out to ask you to consider making a gift to this year’s Annual Fund. Our goal is to raise $200,000 with 100% participation from SCB families. Every single gift matters, no matter the size.
